Meet Jordan, the driving force behind Boreal.
Growing up in the country with limited television, he became obsessed with the technology behind it. He was even known to crawl onto the roof of his house to fix the TV antenna, just to watch one more episode of the Flintstones before it flickered out of sight. Luckily his ongoing love for electronics has grown into more than a dangerous hobby of scaling roofs (although he still has to crawl inside the odd attic or two).
He now focuses on delighting customers with beautiful, entertaining rooms to enjoy day and night, as well as helping them feel safe and secure at the same time. He also has a keen focus on solar and energy management.
With ongoing customer support, Jordan is ready and willing to help with any problems you may have. Luckily there are few TV antennas out there anymore for him to fuss with, as most issues can be fixed remotely. Hooray for new technology!

Our Design Build Process
Step 1
IN-PERSON CONSULTATION
This is our discovery process, where we listen to our client’s needs and wants and discuss how to bring them to life. Our initial interviews are designed to be a learning experience for the client so we can help them balance their desires with the realities of technological trends, budget constraints and the home’s layout.
Step 2
SYSTEM DESIGN / QUOTE
After we’ve gathered the information we need to develop the client’s home solution, a detailed report will be created to match the plan. Our system design team will work to define all aspects of the project functionality for the home. We’ll then deliver all of this to the client for review, feedback and approval before we move to the next step.
Step 3
PLANS
After the system design and budget has been signed off on, we will create documents and drawings for the installation of the technical solutions to meet client needs and ensure reliability and ease of use. A complete documentation package will be presented to the client at the completion of the project.
Step 4
IMPLEMENTATION PROCESS
Once rough and trim phase engineering documentation is finished, we’ll be ready to install the infrastructure. We purchase all AV and solar equipment and assemble it in our office or at the job site. Our job is only complete when the client is completely happy with the finished product. The length of time for the implementation phase depends upon the time frame of construction. Once the system installation is complete, all documentation is updated to as-built state.
Step 5
SERVICE & SUPPORT
A complete set of as-built documentation is delivered to every client at the final project sign-off. By delivering as-built documentation and programming source code to our clients, we ensure that their home investment is well protected and that they have access to lifelong tech support and maintenance. We also honour all manufacturer warranties plus a 12 month workmanship warranty.
